Sep 7, 2016 7:13 PM in response to kylekenbkoolby elcpu,No one can predict what will be available in the future. At the moment the charging dock should allow charging and listening to music at the same time through a separate earphone jack.

Sep 7, 2016 7:51 PM in response to kylekenbkoolby Laserdoc49,I have the same question. On my commute and longer travel I charge my phone and plug into my car audio via the minijack. Without a duel lightning connector I would have to choose between charging and listening to the iPhone 7. I'm pretty sure that makes the iPhone 7 a nonstarter for now.

Sep 7, 2016 8:06 PM in response to kylekenbkoolby K Shaffer,According to a few repeated news bits about the iPhone 7 and changes to
audio port, there is this:
"As expected, the iPhone 7 will ditch the headphone jack, shipping with Lightning-
connected EarPods in the box, as well as a Lightning to headphone adapter...
Apple will also sell separate AirPods Bluetooth headphones, with the new W1
wireless chip, alongside the iPhone 7."
So there is every chance the newer audio product could supersede the quality of
previous design, and open up newer possibilities; while sharing one port. Look to
third-party makers to also offer accessories to enhance the newer designs.
Hopefully that works out.
Good luck & happy trails!

you know like in the previous models.
