Q: I need to reset my Apple ID.

I have lost my phone and no longer have a trusted device to send the verification code to. I need to reset my Apple ID before any purchases or changes are made. Any help with this?

What do you mean by "reset" your Apple ID? Can you explain what it is you are wanting to do in relation to your lost device? Not sure what your Apple ID has to do with it?

And since you are using a verification code, do you have Two-Step Verification or Two Factor Authentication?
