Q: Spore won't launch for another user
I recently upgraded my iMac 2010 i3 to El Capitan and installed SPORE from the original release DVD and then applied the patches. It works fine under my admin account that was used to install the game. When my son tries to launch it in his own admin acct it just shows the initial splash screen then quits. The system log shows some interesting info related to a cider_noui process, but I have no idea what it means or how to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated. I thought about creating a new gamer acct that we share and install the game using that acct, but it would be nice to figure out how to get SPORE to work like every other app on the machine.
