Q: How do I delete an application that does not come up in my Applications folder
I shall give you guys a brief background of my problem.
I downloaded the Reflektive application for work. It supposedly works with Outlook and Mail. It became a nuisance more than convenience so I wanted it gone. I tried deleting it normally via dragging it to the trash. But it kept saying it was unable to do so because it was still in use. This was after I had already quit everything. So I ask Google how to get rid of it and the Reflektive customer service. Naturally, Google gave me the solution quicker and I was able to get rid of it via Terminal.
Reflektive customer service replies and recommends to download their uninstaller. I wanted to be sure I got rid of all the apps remnants, so I clicked on the uninstaller. It apparently installs into your hard drive. When I checked the Applications folder, it wasn't there. But, when I checked the list of applications within System Information, it was listed there as installed. Now, how do I get rid of it? If it installed, is it hiding somewhere in my system? I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you very much!
