Q: Iphone with Ghost touching issue - Warranty claim problem

I Have an iphone 6 which was gifted to me, thus I dont have a receipt. The phone was originally bought in the UK. Just recently I noticed ghost touching which is almost making the phone unusable. Since I reside in Pakistan I sent my iphone to Dubai to claim under warranty but The Apple Store declined the claim on unavailability of the purchase receipt (the warranty is valid until March 2017). As far as I know if the  warranty is valid Apple store should not have decline the claim. Please suggest what I should do.

Warranty is not international and never has been. In your case,

the good thing is that since the iPhone was

purchased in the UK, your warranty will be valid in any EU country.

You must either personally take the iPhone into Apple in an EU nation or

send it to a friend/relative/co-worker in an EU nation for them to take into

Apple and then the friend/relative/co-worker can send it back. Apple

does not accept international shipments for evaluation nor will Apple

ship out of the country after repair/replacement.
