Q: Why is there i Skydrive folder in my iCloud drive

Hi

I'm doing a search in my Library folder (Alt-clicking the Go menu) and come up with a folder named "icloud~com~microsoft~skydrive" with the same content as my iCloud Drive. The reason it concerns me is I'm trying to get the troubled but cheerfully promoted MS OneDrive to work in El Capitan. Among of myriads of tips is to get rid of traces of the old MS SkyDrive, MS OneDrives predecessor. Being relatively new to OS X  I can't work out the folder in question. Deleting it makes it instantly reappear. Showing Info reveals nothing of use. Why bother with OneDrive at all? Hundreds of users i support will rely on it for there backup if it ever straightens up.
