Q: Photos - book

Hi,

In iPhoto it was possible to export the photobook you created as a movie and then for instance share it via FB.

Now in Photos I can create a photobook, however can't seem to export nor share :-(

Meaning I have to redo the exercise to create a slideshow with far less possibilities than I have in my photobook.

Is there a way in Photos to export a photobook?

Or can I share it as is in PDF or in a movie-format or so?

Not handy you have to restart from the album, where all my 'raw data' is while in the book-project I already cleaned things up and got things structured.

A disappointed & frustrated Photos user.

You can save the Photo Book as a PDF file.  Ctrl-Click anywhere on the empty background between the book pages and select "Save as PDF".

If you open the PDF file in Preview, you can save the separate pages as new JPEG files and open these sequence of JPEG images in Quicktime Player to create video.

To save the separate pages as image files in preview, reveal the sidebar with the pages thumbnails. Now you can select each page and drag it as a separate file to a folder or use "File > Export" to save it in a specific format.
