Q: calendar

After the latest updates, the calendar on my iPhone 6plus incorrectly saved the time and dates of the events created/added. Example, i added an event for September 2 at 10 am, but it became September 1 at 11pm, it keeps on coming back even after editing.  All other events that were saved were scheduled at 11pm a day before of the day of the event.  How to fix this?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.5

    Greetings iphoneuser_arb,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that after updating to the latest iOS version, the calendar on your iPhone is incorrectly saving the date and time of events that you have created. I can imagine how concerning this must be, especially since it worked fine on a previous iOS version. Let's see how I can help out.

First, please use Get help with the date and time on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and make sure that these settings are correct, specifically, this section:

Follow these steps, testing after each step:

    1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
    2. Turn on Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time. This will automatically set your date and time based on your time zone.
    3. Make sure that your time zone is set correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.

If you still have issues setting your date, time, or time zone, you can turn off Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time and manually set the time and time zone. Or contact your carrier.

The option to turn on Set Automatically might not be available with all carriers or in all countries.

Then, close all apps on your iPhone (including the Calendar app), and then restart your iPhone. When your iPhone turns back on, please test and see if you get the same result. The following articles will help:

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Additionally, should you be using iCloud Calendars, you may need to verify that your time zone is set correctly on iCloud.com.

iCloud: Change your calendar’s time zone

    Cheers.
