Q: Google on Safari

Hi,

downloaded the new Apple update yesterday. Since then i noticed the google page doesnt load on Safari (sometimes takes more than 30 mins to load). Which is infuriating, since i rely on using safari at work everyday. Even now , i had to open the apple community using google chrome because safari wouldnt even load the community's page.

Anyone with any idea, why this happening.. And by the way all other sites, open fine on safari in as much as i dont have to use google to get there.

Thanks

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

    Hello !

if safari is not loading , clear all extensions if installed  , clear all history & web site data , open safari preferences in advanced section there is an option : show develop menu in menu bar please check the box , now take the cursor on top menu bar and click on develop , click on empty caches .

This will clear only safari caches .

Secondly , click on go to go folder type ~/Library clear contents ( select them command + A , delete them command + delete )  of caches , cookies , saved application state folders into the trash .

Also , remove contents of safari folder ( except bookmarks as you might be using book marks ) .

Restart the system and empty the trash .

    Thanks !

    Hi tygb,

thanks for the heads-up ... but i didn't mean my safari wasn't loading. What happened is all other tabs, websites, pages work fine except 'google' (takes time, say 30 mins to load).

    Thanks !

It happens sometimes , in my system also so i 'll  press command + R  to refresh , slow network speed is also one of the reason .

    Thanks !
