Q: editing  multiple song titles

I have multiple songs with a numbering on them   such as 330.Mp3.  these are Hymn titles and the number is the page title.  Is there a way to strip off the .MP# in Mass?

"In Mass"? You are going to be doing this to the hymns while the service is going on in church? I do believe you mean "en masse". 

 

Check the Dougscripts web site.  There's scripts which will remove set phrases from tag fields as well as those which will remove a given number of characters from the beginning or end.
