Sep 8, 2016 6:53 AM in response to lisdaby KiltedTim,No. Not unless you can provide adequate proof of ownership. Typically, in a case like you describe, that would include the original receipt, death certificate for the original purchaser, and legal documents from the estate of the deceased transferring ownership of the device to you.

Sep 8, 2016 6:55 AM in response to KiltedTimby lisda, owh ok... i have my billed purchased receipt and where i send the original receipt??
-
Sep 8, 2016 7:20 AM in response to lisdaby KiltedTim,Your receipt won't do you any good. You are not the original purchaser of the phone. If that's all you have, then you won't be able to use the phone. Please re-read my post. You need legal documentation transferring ownership from the original owner's estate to you, a death certificate, and a copy of the original receipt.
