Q: Time Capsule as a bridge and Guest Wifi

I'm using my Time Capsule (latest version) as a bridge, with Ethernet and Wifi clients attached to it, so the primary router is assigning all of the IP's to the clients.  That's working perfectly.  The Wifi on the primary router is disabled.  However, I set up a Guest Network on the TC but nothing can connect to it.  Does a Guest Network not work in bridged mode?  Is it because the primary router is unable to assign the Guest Network clients IP address on a different subnet?  The effect is the the same when I enable the Wifi on the primary router (with different SID's).

Thanks for any help.

The AirPort Time Capsule and other AirPorts must be set up as a DHCP and NAT router in order for the Guest Network feature to operate correctly.......so a setting of Bridge Mode on the AirPort will not allow the Guest Network feature to operate correctly.

In other words, the AirPort must assign IP addresses to devices on both the "main" and "guest" networks in order for the Guest Network option to work correctly.

The exception to what I have written above would be when a "main" AirPort has already been set up to provide DHCP and NAT service for a network, and another AirPort on the network is set up to "extend" the network. In that case, the second AirPort, which is set up in Bridge Mode, will be able to extend both the private network and the guest network.
