Q: itunes is 78GB and Audio is 162GB???

I have recently gone through my itunes and deleted alot of music that I dont listen to. After I have deleted all of the unused music and sent it to trash itunes is saying I have 78GB of music which is fine. The problem is that when i go into about mac and look at the storage space it is coming up that my mac has 162GB of audio. I only have 256GB SSD so every bit of space helps.

Has anybody had is problem? Is there a double up somewhere that im missing. Any help would be great thanks

    Did you empty your Trash?

How were the tracks added to iTunes? If you copy a file to the computer then drag it to iTunes, iTunes puts a copy of the file in its library and leaves the original where you put it.
