Warranty if iPhone purchased abroad?

If I buy an iPhone in an Apple Store in UK but I live in Italy, in case I need to make a warranty related claim in the period 13-24 months which is not covered anymore by Apple International Warranty but only by the seller warranty, may I expect to get this service from any Apple Store in EU or do I need to go back in UK?

It seems to depend on each country whether the second year will be honored.

Reading through a few of the Warranty terms for different european countries, Spain and Germany specifically state 24 months of warranty coverage.

The Netherlands does not go beyond stating a "reasonable time".

For the first year you should have no issues getting warranty service in Europe in any country.

For the second it will depend on the Country you wish to get service in.

I suggest you read the terms for each country, as yes the second year is dependent on the specific countries warranty laws.

Tnxs for your reply.

The 1 year warranty is called: Apple One-Year Limited Warranty, but I was not referring to that in the scope of my question. I am referring to the seller warranty from month n.13 to month n.24 (Consumer Laws).

I was not even referring to Brexit.

You could see my question as "Purchasing an iPhone in EU country A and making the claim in EU country B".

There are very different answers and experiences on the web and I would like to have a consistent information before deciding where to buy.

There are customers who have been told by an Apple Store in country B to make the claim in country A, and other customer who had their iPhone repaired in country B without any issue at all.

I am referring to the Apple Store as the seller, who need to provide warranty for 2 years and not as Apple, who provide the Apple One-Year Limited Warranty.

Tried to forward the question to the closest Apple Store here and I got the following answer:

Yes, if in the country where you are going to make the purchase there is a warranty seller policy in the second year, you would be able to make a claim in any Apple Store in EU, even if in another country.

As regarding the local country of purchasing policy, I got the advice to contact the local seller as Apple web site is not always updated.
