In iOS 9 how do you unfollow someone who is sharing their location with you?

Since we no longer have the find friends app, how do you turn off someone who you are following? I have people that come up in my find friends list inside Mac OS 10.11.6 notifications bar that I don't want to see. How do you get rid of these people? I have tried deleting their contact card, but that did not work.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I figured it out, the Find Friends app is on the phone just hidden in a folder. You go in there and remove the people you do not want to see.
