Q: APPLE ID ISSUES

Hi

I've just changed my email address  for my apple id. It also forced me to change my password for my ID as there was not enough charactors in the original (no idea how it let me do it in the first place).   I now can't access icloud on my macbook as it still has my ID as my old email address.  I cannot sign out of the old ID as it says i need a separate password for log in screen.  I can't set up a separate password because i need to use my current password to set up the seperate password and it says the password doesn't work.  I've tried both the old password and the new password.

I was able to log out of my appleid on my iphone and log in to the updated one with no problems at all.  I can also log into appleid.apple.com without any problems and the details i've updated in there are correct

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

This hasn't helped.  Keep getting an error to say password/userid is incorrect....

I've tried on the old id and password and the new id and password and nothing.  I can't even contact them as there are no ways to that I can find

The only option I have is to arrange a call back but because I am an english speaker in spain with a spanish phone number I can't get anyone to speal to me in english as the support call request auto prefixes the UK dial prefix so I have to tell them I'm spanish to be able to enter my number, which I'm not

Is there not a 'chat' option anywhere where I can actually speak to them?

I'm now just getting call after call of pre recording nonsense in spanish

Chat support is offered, but I don't know if in all countries. You can also try Apple's Twitter account. Start with the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.

Otherwise, use this link for Apple ID security issues:
