I am visiting Italy at the end of the month, and am bringing my iPad 2 Model A1397 for the first time. Do I need a voltage converter to charge the iPad? Italy runs on 220V while the USA is 110V. I already have adapters.

You only need a plug adaptor, iPads can use any voltage (from 100 to 240)
Many thanks! I figured newer iPads could but wasn't sure of this older 2011 model, and didn't want to purchase and have to carry hardware if the iPad didn't require it.
All iPads are the same with respect to voltage, regardless of age.
