Q: Spinning wheel by WiFi on iPad2

Ok, I've had a chance to look at my device. You're right, it is wireless activity icon. According to the first post, all WiFi devices behind it are slow. It could be resolution problem like you said or it could also be slow internet connection from the provider. It happens. I would try testing the speed of the internet just for the heck of it. Rebooting the modem is a good idea too.

So I guess you've tried restarting the modem/router (combo?) but that didn't help? Give us an update if the new device is the solution (or not).

Hi. Are you sure you cannot access your Verizon router? My dlink from Verizon has the dope printed on the bottom, and I downloaded the manual from the web, so I was able to configure it.

What's "dope" (printed on the bottom)? Code?

I would reset the router if I can't access it (assuming that OP knows what IP address the router is at).

The dope I mentioned is the admin login and password. All you need to know. You can tell the router IP from the Router address in the iPad WiFi settings.
