Q: Similar Color Displays Between MacBook Air and iMac?

Hello all!

I've somewhat recently gotten into web / graphic design. I have a late 2013 iMac which I use as my primary computer. However, I also frequently use a late 2015 MacBook Air when I am not home.

I absolutely love my Air, but the staggering difference in it's color display can be very annoying. I'll design something in photoshop, for example, or change the colors of my blogger theme, and then when I go to pull it up on my iMac later, the colors are totally different. And I don't just mean like a few shades lighter or darker, I mean like a subtle, light orange turning into a vibrant and blinding yellow.

As a blogger, I often use my work on my own website, so it's annoying when a totally readable and pleasant color turns out to be obnoxiously bright and barely visible on other screens.

I am aware, due to the nature of my iMac being stationary and always plugged in, that it will in turn show truer colors, but is their any way to calibrate them to appear more similar? Or am I stuck with guessing the end result?

Thanks!

P.S. My iMac is partitioned to run Windows 10. Not sure if that has anything to do with the screen's color display, but it can't hurt to mention it.
