Q: Deleted the OS on a Mac Mini and it won't boot
I was trying to restore my Mac Mini for it to be like new.
I first entered the recovery mode and deled the disc data, then i tried to reinstall the OS X but a "item not available right now" message appeared. So i fou out it wa because tha iMac was linked to my mothers account instead of mine.
I accidentally shut down the mac and haven't been able to enter the recovery mode ever since.
When i turn it on, the light goes on and the sound comes out but the screen stays completely black when pressing cmd+R. I tried other commands and the scree turns white and a folder with an interrogation sign appears.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Boot from the Snow Leopard installation disk that came with the Mini.
Install Sl and fully update and then upgrade OSX via the Mac App Store.
It seems the Recovery partition was corrupted when it accidentally shutdown.
If you have another Mac with SL or later there are other ways too
