Terminal keeps opening on its own. How do i stop it?

Hey guys,

since the last two days, the application Terminal has been opening on itself and every time I quit the application it simply reopens after a couple minutes always showing this:

Last login: Thu Sep 8 18:36:04 on ttys000

*my name*-Mac-mini:~ *myusername*$

I don't know how to stop this from happening I checked everywhere I know (I'm not an expert in IT though) and found nothing. Incase it helps, Bitdefender found two Trojans in one of my files but I deleted them after discovery.

Thanks in advance for all the help and advice.

What all 3rd party extentions are you running?

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

Hey man thanks for the advice the EtreCheck looks great. I have the AVID License manager running in order to use Pro Tools for work.

I closed it now while not using and I'll check if Terminal at some point will still reopen by itself. If not then I figure that was the issue. 🙂

In Console (I'm not an IT expert) I see a couple of messages from Voice Over and Safari for instance that keep repeating for about 6 or 7 times before a new code is placed. But I'm not confident on wether that is ok like that or if it's a problem.

I can't seem to copy Paste the Code from Console so I'd have to share a screenshot of an example.User uploaded file
