Backwards compatibility of accessories
Will accessories like screen protectors and cases be backwards compatible between Apple Watch 1 & 2 like the bands are?

Depending on the watch's case size (38mm or 42mm) and model, a case or screen protector designed for an original Apple Watch model may not fit a newly announced model.
Note: Series 1 does not refer to the original Apple Watch models. Series 1 is a new watch model that contains a new processor. The 42mm Series 1 watch also has different dimensions to the original Apple Watch.
