Q: Bad connection iMac 27" and Beats Solo Wireless

Hi,

So I own a late 2013 iMac 27" and the Beats Solo HD Wirless headphones (space grey version)

But whenever I connect it to my iMac via Bluetooth both my mouse stutters and the beats audio stutters like it keeps losing connection everytime.

I also already returned the headphones twice because the pillows keep coming off with normal use.

Now I know people don't like beats and whatever but I should still be able to expect some quality from Beats/Apple (these are made after apple took the company over)

I feel kind of cheated for 300 Euros now. The headphones work fine on my iPhone 6 and my iMac Late 2011 (work iMac)

So what's wrong with these headphones or iMac? seems like the bluetooth is crap in the Late 2013 iMac.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), Late 2013

    Hi,

It may be corrupted Bluetooth preferences on your Mac.

Make sure the headphone is not connected via Bluetooth.

Now open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

Click Go then move the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file to the Trash.

    Then try pairing the headphones.

Then open System Preferences, then click Sound then select the Output tab then select the device in the list.
