Q: How to remove topics from apple news?
I like the new Apple News product for iOS. However, it seems difficult to mange the topics. I usually read headlines and other news using other apps. My kids have iPads that are tied to my account and managed by me. I would like to use the news product with them, but I cannot figure out how to restrict the news to just a few topics of interest to them (Science, history, etc). They do not care about Sports, Finance, fashion or any breaking news (nor do I want them to see much of it). There seems to be no way to remove trending news, breaking news, or other mainstream stuff. I can find no references on how to do it either.
Thanks in advance
iPad Air, iOS 9.3.5

In the News app, tap on Favorites, then Edit. Delete whatever sources are of no interest or inappropriate.
