Q: Airdrop is not showing iphone in macbook pro

Hello,

I have macbook pro retina early 2015 El Capitan 10.11.6, Now i am trying to Airdrop from mac to iphone 6 plus iOS 9.3.5 but my phone is not showing in Airdrop. I tried to share from iphone to mac but no luck.

I tried to restart mac and iphone. I also reset networking settings from iphone still no luck. I sign out my icloud id in mac, sign in again no luck.

Macbook and iphone both on same wifi network. My iphone does show in another iphone but not mac.

Is there anything i have not try apart from above ?

I've had trouble with it myself on occasion but after following the instructions in this support article to the letter I was able to send content via AirDrop > Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac - Apple Support

Hello,

Thanks for your quick reply but i already tried this guid, not helpful in my case. Its still not working after following everything more then 10 times.
