Q: Macbook problem uploading photos onto facebook

When in Facebook I try to upload photos from the Macbook and it brings up the icloud drive box but does not display the photos within the box. It defaults to icloud drive and does not allow other options to upload from my hard drive or from usb for instance. Does anyone have a solution to this.

1. How to change the default so that when I go to upload photos in facebook it allows me to select where to get photos from and does not force me to go to icloud drive.

2. Any ideas why the icloud drive does not display my photos

This is a new Macbook - I have logged in to icloud but am i missing something?

    Hi,

When you click Add Photos from your Facebook page then click iCloud Drive it should allow you to select photos or a folder where have then stored.

Try this...  if you are using Safari to access Facebook, go to your Safari menu bar then click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click:  Remove All Website Data.

Then quit and relaunch Safari then go to Facebook and try again.

Sometimes browser cookies can cause glitches when uploading photos.

Great thank you for this advice. I am away from the Mac until next week but will give it a go and let you know if it works.
