Q: printer stops printing in black
I have mac os x 10.9.5 Maverick and a printer HP all in one plus B 210e which worked fine
once or twice it printed in gray so I cleaned the cartridges twice then back to normal
now it won't print in black again, i deleted the printer - cleaned the cartridges again - cleaned all i could
somehow I would be able to print from a different place like e mail but not from the web and now when I start the printer it tells me to put paper in ?? and align the cartridges which failed
I recently had an update from apple it downloaded but on the printer itself it doesn't show it was updated from 5. it still shows 4.2
had that printer for almost 5 y i also replaced all cartridges it now prints a decent gray if I use all the colors. I had previously set up the printer to print in options : black only
it is a headache I think of replacing it with canon MG 7720
any idea anyone ? I would like some advice sure someone might know may be

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system also Yosemite
