Is there a way to remotely control my iPad?

I have a teleprompter app installed on my iPad, and was wondering if there's a way to control the iPad remotely? There's a speed setting on the app, but sometimes the talent doesn't read at a consistent speed. It would be nice remotely control the iPad to adjust to the talent's reading speed.

Thanks!

iPad, iOS 9.3.5, app store

There is a device for remote controlling iPads via Bluetooth, but this remote control will probably not do anything to remote control your teleprompter app.

There is also a dedicated WifI and/or Bluetooth remote for Macs and iDevices by a company called Satechi.

Found here.
