If you previously downloaded it from the Mac App Store, log into it with the same Apple ID and click on the Purchases tab.

If not, go to a physical Apple Store and ask for it.

Why do you want to download Mavericks instead of El Capitan?

Mavericks is no longer available for initial download from the Mac App Store.

Your choices are the free El Capitán or pay download code versions of older OS X versions OS X 10.7.5 Lion OR OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.

If you really want/need/have to use OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks, then you need to check and call your local Apple Store, first, to find out if they can install this on your Mac for you. Then, bring your Mac in for the Apple Staff to be able to upgrade your Mac's OS X to OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks.

Make sure you have a backup of all your important data before doing this.

    Good Luck!
