Q: When does the iPod touch 7 come out?

Apple has made no announcement regarding a new iPod.

Unknown, at least to anyone who posts here...  The current iPod touch (6th gen) is just over one year old, and it uses the A8 chip (like the current latest iPad mini).  Recently, iPod touch has not been updated every year.  The gap between 5th gen and 6th gen iPod touch was about three years.
