Contacts won’t automatically load my card after El Capitan upgrade

Sorry for the typing mistake . I meant to write ..

After upgrading to El Capitan Contacts are empty until I manual choose 'card > load my card' I have to do this every time I open the application.

Anyone know whats gone wrong?
