iPad Pro and iPhone 6+ at iOS 9.3.5 are acting weird since update. Just now used iPad to sign up for Apple Store workshop and used the link to add to calendar. Confirmed event on iPad. But event has not appeared on iPhone (as it usually does). Also when editing event location, a duplicate copy of the event appeared. And a similar pain, editing a repeated event asked to change this or all, selected all BUT change made to just current event. Forced to make changes on each repeated event.
On iPhone, event does not appear. Dismissed Calendar by swiping up from multitasking view and reopened. Event for in-store workshop still missing.
Tested creating and editing several events on iPad and not seeing updates on iPhone. Made appt on iPhone and it shows up on iPad within seconds. But the original workshop event is still missing.
