I could hear a faint clicking noise around the ear piece when I first got my iPhone 6 Plus in May of 2016. I sat my phone down on the table in my kitchen because I was eating and a little bit of water the size of a quarter dropped on my phone. I wiped it off and no biggy. I was going for a run and my phone stopped playing music and I look at my phone and it won't turn back on. I take it to apple and they send it into it the repair center to see what's wrong with it. I get an email saying that it was liquid damage. I would guess that it was caused by the design flaw about the clicking noise.
