Q: Problems with Safari
I have an Apple iPhone 6S. Operating system iOS 9.3.5. I was browsing in Safari and clicked on a website. Immediately a page came up saying "Apple Alert, Safari has crashed", and then immediately taking me to an email like I would be sending it saying I needed to call a number I haven't found on any of the official Apple websites. The message also said my credit card and banking info was at risk. I got on my laptop as I am unable to do anything with safari on my iPhone now. I tried to call the Apple Support on the legitimate website but did not realize they don't open until 7:00 am in the morning. I have tried to go through the online Apple chat, but just keep getting taken back to a message saying I will need to call them or put in to have someone call me. Has anyone had this problem, and how was it fixed? I have shut my phone down and back on several times, but nothing has changed. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
