Cannot Log Into New Game Center Account

I made a new apple account, and I tried logging in multiple times, using both the Game Center app and the Game Center option in Settings. When I log in, it would first show me the "Terms and Conditions" document. I tap agree, and it would then lead me to the "Create A Nickname" screen. Whenever I put in my nickname and tap Next, it goes BACK TO THE LOGIN SCREEN. I have tried this on both my iPad AND iPod (about 30 times), and it did not work. Please Help!
