Q: IPadPro 9.7 - 4G/LTE not working when traveling internationally

I have a local SIM card from Vodafone UK for when visiting the UK.  After inserting the SIM and connecting to Vodafone I am only able to receive a 3G signal (my iPhone 6 receives a 4G/LTE signal).

 

When returning the USA, my Verizon signal would no longer connect To 4G/LTE.  After speaking with Apple, they suggested re-installing iOS which resolved my issue for Verizon.

 

Upon returning the UK, I again was unable to connect to 4G/LTE.

 

Anyone else experience similar issues?

iPad Pro 9.7-inch WiFi, Cellular, iOS 9.3.5

    Appears the issue can be caused when swapping out the SIM card.  After resetting network settings, 4G/LTE services returned to working in the US.

     

    From Apple, while resetting the network settings with the Apple logo being displayed on screen is when to replace the SIM card.

    I Had the Same peculiar issue which I faced when I had to travel out of country.

    i was able to fix it by Resetting Network Settings..do this by

    Settings->General->Reset->and then Network Settings
