Q: Account used without consent for music membership. Can't cancel.
I received an email, purportedly from Apple (no-reply.discussions.apple.com), this morning. It appears someone with an iPhone name I don´t recognize, has used my account to purchase a music membership.
I am trying to find out via my Apple ID, whether a subscription has indeed been added to my account and if so, how I can cancel it. Any help would be appreciated.
I am currently abroad and have not able to get in touch with Apple Support. I scheduled a call and it didn´t work - probably because I´m on a foreign telephone. I tried calling the support number here in the Netherlands as well and it didn't work either.
I consulted the article on how to manage and cancel subscriptions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
It says that I should have a subscriptions section in Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > View Apple ID.
Unfortunately, I don't see a subscriptions section in there.
The only subsections I see here are ITUNES IN THE CLOUD and ITUNES NEWSLETERRES AND SPECIAL OFFERS
If you have any idea on how to view / cancel the subscription, please let me know.
