Q: Iphone 6s Plus problem with mic.

When i use my phone for calls i always get complains that they cannot hear me. Apparently the microphone of my iphone reduces the volume, thus, they cannot hear me. It's bothering me over a few months now and when the phone was taken to greycom (authorised company by apple in Cyprus) the run some audio diagnostics without finding any problem. I erased all of my applications set it as new iphone and still the problems persists. Any suggestions?

PS. They say they cannot give me a refurbished one without having a problem on the iphone so they can justify to apple the exchange.

Done it! If that was the problem i am sure that greycom who runs the diagnostics would have found it already but neither do i or greycom found any problems by troubleshooting for this issue.

Are you using 3G or LTE network? If yes, what about the signal strength? Did you try to use the network connection that offers the best signal strength, even if this means to use the Edge network settings?

Here in Cyprus we struggle with 4G (LTE) and we only have 2-3 providers, and yes i tried that as-well with no result. I also changed my sim card, turned off the data (3g,4g) but still the problem exists.

To rule out a software issue, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup. Test the microphone during a call and compare the result.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

If it still does not work, contact Apple Support and see if you can send it in for service instead of visiting you local Apple Service Provider.

that was the first thing i have done. set it up as a new iphone and tested it. No results.
As we speak the phone is going through diagnostics again (from greycom), lets hope this time will show something.
