Q: FCPX - storage issues with external SSD

Hi guys!

Iv'e run in to an issue recently. As mentioned I'm using FCPX to edit my work and I have troubles storing everything. I'm using a Blackmagic production camera which uses SSDs. Filming in 4K resolution it's taking up so much space. im editing on a Imac 27" 5k with 1tb and SSD. To storage everything I have this box where i can insert two SSDs. On there I used to storage my libraries one at a time depending on which project I was working on. My largest SSD I have is on 500gb and my recent clips I have is on 496gb. If I then start to edit that rest space will be used very Quickly. I don't really know how I should deacripe this in another way so I hope you understand. My question is then if there is a way for me to maybe split the projects or events from the library. Or maybe some other solution.
