Q: Restore music on shuffle without a laptop

Just after we sold our desktop Mac, my shuffle started to malfunction. I got it replaced, but now, with only an iPad, how can I restore the music? Is it possible to go to the Genius Bar, sign in to my iTunes account,and have them transfer it over? I don't want to have to buy a new laptop just for this!

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

iPods (except iPod touch) require a Mac or Windows PC running iTunes for syncing.  It's not possible to do it at an Apple Store Genius Bar, because your song files must be located on the computer that is running iTunes.
