Can your ATV access other websites, e.g. YouTube? Are your timezone and region consistent with your actual location? Are you using any tyoe of VPN, unblocker, or DNS service?

Any content that requires authorization to play won't play and just gives the "Theres a problem communicating with the iTunes Store. Try again later." message. Free previews of those same episodes play fine, so it is not my ATV. It could be related to iPhone 7 pre-order traffic. The obvious fixes like rebooting don't help...this is on Apple's end. My iPad Pro also refuses to play the content. It starts with the black video screen and the spinning wheel, but then simply drops back to the episode list. This is something that will very likely fix itself in a few hours, or maybe a day.
