Q: Macbook Pro won't turn on in room temperature.

Hello,

I've been having this problem with my late 2008 unibody Macbook Pro since the last year that it only turns on when I use a blow dryer and blow directly at the logic board to bring its temperature to above around 70 degrees Celsius/160 degrees Fahrenheit.

I've only found out about this make-do solution to turn it on a few days ago, before that I had kept it running for several months and as long as it's on it's a well functioning machine without any issues no matter what the logic board temperature was. I've brought it to a genius bar earlier for a hardware check however they couldn't identify any problems.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks.
