Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with your iPhone is not what you expect. Based on what you stated, it seems you may be experiencing an issue with your iPhone shutting down unexpectedly. Based on that, I suggest these steps to resolve your issue:
1. First make a backup of your personal data to keep that info safe.
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
2. Next try resetting all settings on your iPhone. Now, don’t worry, this will not affect any of your content. All of your contacts, pictures, music, and other stuff is all safe. What it will do is reset your custom settings back to the factory defaults. So, background pictures, sounds, fingerprints and stuff like that will have to be set back up again. Then test the issue again.

3. If the behavior remains, you may need to restore your iPhone, install a fresh copy of the iOS software and then setup the iPhone as new and test the issue. If the issue is resolved then try restoring your backup.
