Q: Can a huge amount of photos slow down the iphone

Hello,

 

A simple question. My wife and I have both an iphone 6 (128 for me, 64 for her).

My phone is getting slower and slower with time, and we the speed difference can be seen when comparing both. Her phone is as fast as the first day.

The difference, I have a "huge" amount photo/video in my phone. (60gb, 13k photos/video).

Can this be the source of the slowness ?  I still have more than 20gb of free space.

 

Or... what could be the reason ... ?

the storage of photos should not affect speed but having a number of Apps open, having apps that are more intensive than others.

Best test would be restart both phones from a cold boot and measure the response.
