Q: Moving Albums from iOS to Desktop

How do you transfer a Photo Album created on an iPhone to your desktop Mac?

I've tried

- Accessing through Photos Desktop App but I don't see any way to select and album. I'd have to reorganize all my organization manually again.

- Sharing via iOS Photos but this only sends a link to an email address

- Downloading via iCloud.com but do download feature available

-- Syncing through iTunes but

(a) no Photos option under "On My Device" and

-- under Settings, it says "photos can only be accessed via iCloud. Photos can be downloaded to your device via Wi-Fi or cellular network." -- How?

I'm even hesitant to set up iOS Photos Sharing Albums because that would also mean spending hours reimporting many, many photos from one album to another.

Help, please!
