Q: Trouble accessing recently taken photos
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.5. I usuaully update when new software becomes available.
Some time during the last few updates, I noticed that after a short time, my Photos had been stored to iCloud and I am having trouble messaging or emailing them unless I do it right away after taking them. I know they're in my iCloud storage, but there seems to be an issue with downloading the ones I want via my phone and distributing them via Messages or via my iCloud email account. I do have my settings for Photos & Camera set to store photos and video in my iCloud Photo Library and have Optimize iPhone Storage checked. But I had that set before and didn't have this issue in earlier versions of iOS or there was a feature that let me decide when to remove photos from the iPhone memory to store online. That seems to have disappeared, or I just am not seeing it.
Does anyone have any advice or experiencing similar issues? It is not always convenient to jump on a computer to go to iCloud Photos and retrieve images. Thanks.
