Q: idrop news
I get e-mails from idrop news. They sell accessories. Is idrop associated with Apple? Does anyone know if their accessories are safe? I was thinking of placing an order for their "61% off Apple Lightning Cable, 3-pack for $21.99." Is this an authentic Apple product? I don't want to hurt my iphones or ipad.

When buying any accessory for your iPhone, ensure that it is either a genuine Apple product or that it has been certified as Made for iPhone (MFi).
Using uncertified or counterfeit accessories may damage your iPhone and/or adversely affect operation. Also note that Apple's warranty does not cover damage caused by use with a third party product that does not meet Apple's specifications.
