Can't complete order after iPhone 7 reservation during pre-order?

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask.. but is anyone experiencing this issue with their iPhone 7 pre-order?

After I attempted to place an order for the iPhone 7 Plus during the pre-order, I got an e-mail from the Apple Store saying that my iPhone had been reserved and provided me a reservation number. They said they would e-mail when they were able to reach the carrier systems so I could place my order. Very quickly after I got a follow-up e-mail confirming the reservation number and told me I could now go ahead and place my order. I logged in to the Apple Store, which recognized my reservation number, went through almost ALL of the ordering screens, but when I hit continue to confirm the pricing plan I had selected, the next screen showed the dreaded "The page you are looking for cannot be found" page.

The e-mail with the reservation told me I only have until 4 PM PDT on 9/10 to complete this order. Has anyone else experienced this!? I tried through the Apple store app, Safari, and Chrome.. and still get the same issue. I've been on hold with Apple now for 45 minutes trying to get through and they are not taking any chat requests. I'm so frustrated! Help!

Hi, I got the same error. I kept trying and eventually it worked. Unfortunately, it would not let me get the iPhone because it said that I needed to make a deposit in order to purchase a new iPhone on AT&T. It said I would need to go to an Apple store but I couldn't choose a store because it was unavailable (I wanted the iPhone 7 Plus, Jet Black 256GB).

Of course I tried to call but obviously they are busy. I ended up trying to buy again but bought the 128GB Matte Black and it went through with no issues. So, I'm a little frustrated that they couldn't allow me to buy the Jet Black but I can buy the Matte Black?

I hope that you were able to get the iPhone that you wanted.User uploaded file

Same issue, but when I verify my Verizon info, the resulting screen says I already have a reservation under my phone number and I can only have one. Meanwhile, I never received a confirmation email or reservation number from a previous reservation (which I never made, because I followed through and "confirmed" for only one phone). I had gone through the selection process a few times as I was looking for the available shipping dates of the various colors and storage sizes, but I absolutely didn't confirm more than one transaction.

Now I'm stuck! Been on hold 3 times: 40 mins at 10 am, 45 mins at 12:30 pm, and 1 hr 30 mins and holding now...absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced...worse than *gasp* airline customer service today.

Hi all - thanks for the support. I just tried my order again and it FINALLY went through. Mine will be delivering on Sept 16th; I ordered the 7 Plus 128GB in gold for reference. Good luck to everyone else in getting your orders through! Looks like we just need to hang on and wait until the traffic dies down.

I confirmed that it was not due to traffic yesterday by ordering a phone color I did not want. When I finally got through on the phone to Apple today they confirmed that there was a bad web address in the order process for reservations. Their solution was to return the phone after it ships to me, place a new order and presumably wait until about November to get the phone I reserved at 3am EST on the 9th. Stellar solution.
