el capitan vs logic pro x

further to my post about drums disappearing, has anyone else had issues with El Capitan and logic pro x regarding midi or playing real time drums via virtual drummer.

I have an issue that when playing or recording drums via v drums or even via keyboard. i get about 30 seconds into the track and then the drums start to disintegrate one by one until no drums give off sound, ( I have checked and this also happens in garageband.) so Im guessing its el capitan thats causing this.

if anyone else has had this problem and solved it can you please help me here.

I am not very good at tech talk so you will have to bare with me I am very basic on computers

so this is something that has me completely baffled .

thanks in advance

Hi.. Midi from drums straight into mac mini usb.

I do use an interface for guitars

im using the comps built in audio at the moment but I have been using the interface for output before now. I have tried using the interface for midi .. I can't seem to get it working ( but that maybe just me ) !

Ok, here's something to try, my guess is it's USB related. Use your audio interface, install the latest drivers, (which make/model interface?)

Run a standard MIDI cable from MIDI OUT on the V-Drums to MIDI IN on the interface. Now start Logic and see if you're getting any Input from the V-Drums. IMPORTANT.... check the V-Drums MIDI implementation, you may have change it from USB to Standard MIDI (or whatever they call it) .
