movies will not link to itunes

I have a program that allows me to covert DVDs I purchase into a mp4 format. Then I link them to iTunes. With the latest 12 update I can no longer link the movies to iTunes. Anyone else having this problem and have you found a solution? Thanks,

I'm not sure what "link to iTunes" means, but when you import or drag the converted movie files to iTunes, they will usually appear in the Home Videos media kind. Check for them there, Get Info, then change Kind to Movie.
